Steamworks is celebrating the fall harvest with the release of 2 Fresh Hop Beers; the returning Sartori Ranch collaboration Hop Attack and new Yak Attack.

Hop Attack is back for another year and features an exceptional batch of whole cone Centennial hops from the famed Sartori Ranch in Chilliwack, BC. It's a vibrant IPA with notes of grass and citrus.

Yak Attack, on the other hand, is a fresh hopped Pale Ale featuring whole cone Simcoe hops from the famous Yakima Valley hop growing region. The beer is an incredibly balanced and smooth pale ale, showcasing fruity and earthy hop aroma and flavours. "Think of it as Hop Attack's chilled out younger brother" says Steamworks' brewmaster Julia Hanlon.

In the case of both beers, the extremely tight harvesting window for fresh hops meant a tight turnaround to get the hops from the farm into the brew kettle as fast as possible. Whether down the trans-canada highway or across the border.

Both beers will be available next week at government and private liquor stores in extremely limited quantities. They'll also be on sale and on tap at the Steamworks Brewery and Taproom at 3845 William St in Burnaby, BC.
