On Saturday, March 28th from noon to 10:00 PM, Populuxe Brewing will celebrate their 7th Anniversary with a tribute to the Seattle World’s Fair.

The event, which is sponsored in part by Verity Credit Union, kicks off at noon.  The party  will feature corndogs with beer mustard from Layers Sandwich Co., funnel cake from House Of Funnel Cakes, free cotton candy and popcorn, games, giveaways and more!

Beer Releases include:

Science Pavilion Pilsner - Old world malt meets new world hops in this premium pale lager. Crisp, clean and refreshing, this beer exemplifies the World of Tomorrow where everything tastes better and we all have jet packs! Double decocted just like in 1962. 4.7% ABV 30 IBU

Monorail SMASH - A Single Malt And Single Hop beer brewed with unique northwest grown malt and an experimental, as yet unreleased hop variety. Hop-forward with notes of tropical fruit and pine over a bready, cracker like malt profile. 6% ABV 50 IBU

Seventh Anniversary IPA - We packed seven years of brewing experience into a beer that we're sure you'll want more of. Bright, crisp and dry and packed with Mosaic, Citra and Cashmere hops to create a chorus of hop flavor and aromas. Dry-hopped every day for seven days! 7.7% ABV 80 IBU

To top off the day at 7 PM, we'll have a Vinyl Spin Party with Kurt Bloch (The Fastbacks, The Young Fresh Fellows Thee Sgt Major 3, etc etc) and Jim Sangster (Young Fresh Fellows, TRIPWIRES, Picketts, etc etc) spinning 45’s both Classic and Not So Much! R&B Raunch, Solid Soul Senders, Saucy Surf, Crunchy Garage, Loud Sounds both Rock AND Roll, and perhaps a dose of Classic Punkers!
