Ex-Novo Nevermore '21. Barrel Aged Black Barleywine w/ smoked figs
Description: Our annually released Black Barleywine fermented with house smoked figs and aged in whiskey barrels for one year. Rich, bold, smooth with notes of vanilla, cherry, pipe tobacco, cascara and berries.
Additional Info/Intentions: Nevermore 2021 is a blend of 5 barrels, 2 former Oregon Pinot Noir barrels, and 3 Eagle Rare Barrels. This blend spent one year aging before being blended. This small batch just might be our favorite vintage yet. The wine barrels come through with a very dark cherry and marionberry character that truly compliments the vanilla, whiskey, and rich malt character of the base beer.
