While the non-alc craft beer segment has been seeing exponential growth, FBC has been working up a sweat behind the scenes on the creation of this new brand. From start to finish, they had two clear goals in mind – to ensure the beer tasted as good as their full-flavoured, alcohol containing counterpart; and that the brand spoke to the active and athletic mountain-town adventurer.
“New events include Down Unda featuring southern hemisphere hops and New Zealand pilsners alongside SaltChuck Pies at the gorgeous Esquimalt Park Gorge Pavilion; and Sour Power a 70’s themed sour beer disco party with Tight Hair headlining for a real Saturday Night Fever. Dubbel Down will return to the iconic Victoria Public Market on Friday, May 12th for a night of Belgian inspired beers and cuisine. The ever popular Beer & Pizza Night will be hosted at Driftwood Brewery and partners with local vendor Bicycle Pizza for a delicious multi-course pairing. Victoria Beer Week will also kick off the Langford based Friday’s at the Station series at Langford Station. This pop-up beer garden series will continue every Friday for the rest of summer. We use a custom blend of wild yeast to create this ultra crisp pale ale. Full of notes of stone fruit, we chose to dry hop this generously with citrus forward hops: Chinook, Columbus, Citra & Mosaic.
This Nitro Imperial Stout has deep roasty and chocolatey notes with a nitrogen charge to make it incredibly smooth and sessionable.
Indulge in this rich and creamy collaboration of chocolate and nitrogen infused dark beer. Featuring delicate notes of caramel and vanilla with hints of dried fruit.
We finally made a Hazy! Extralux is a silky, Hazy IPA with subtle notes of melon, peach, and white grape, accented by a resinous piney backbone. A juicy treat that comes on with a huge hop profile, finishing smooth and mellow.
Extralux is available to purchase in the Four Winds taproom and through our online shop right now! We will begin sending flats out to shops across B.C. starting the week of December 20th. A limited number of flats will also be available for distribution in Alberta through Copper & Theory.
Our spritz starts with a slightly tart and light bodied based beer, which we then loaded with peach + passion fruit. Sensibly low on calories and carbs while extremely flavourful, authentic, and easy drinking. ABV 5%.
