When It Rains, We Pour!

February is Oregon Craft Beer Month, and it’s also the start of “tap season” in Tualatin Valley. Although we celebrate our craft brews all year long, tap season is extra special this year as we are planning three months of fun events, specials and opportunities, including the re-launch of our successful Tualatin Valley Ale Trail Mobile Passport.

Tap Season is a celebration of local craft beers and ciders and the taprooms that serve them. Launched by Explore Tualatin Valley, “Tap Season” is a three-month promotion for beer and cider lovers, which also includes the re-launch of our successful Tualatin Valley Ale Trail Mobile Passport.

The updated mobile passport now includes 35 craft breweries, cider makers and taprooms, which pour Oregon brews, ciders, wine, kombucha and more. Craft beverage enthusiasts will earn points for prizes just by checking in to participating breweries, and passport holders can also access exclusive specials, such as discounts and free items, at participating locations. Points earned on the mobile passports may be redeemed for prizes, such as bottle openers, socks and beanies.

Don’t have a mobile passport? No worries, visit our website and get your complimentary passport.

As part of Tualatin Valley Tap Season, Explore Tualatin Valley, Breakside Brewery and the Hillsboro Hops are hosting THE DRAFT: Beer. Baseball. Fun. Come to Breakside Brewery’s new Beaverton location and celebrate the re-release of “Walk Off,” the official beer of the Hillsboro Hops, test your baseball (and beer) knowledge with a trivia master (and be sure to study up, because there will be a lot of awesome trivia prizes!), party with both Hops’ mascots Barley and Bacaanda and kick it with the Tap Season Street Team to learn more about the Tualatin Valley Ale Trail Mobile Passport.
