Press Release

Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) and GloryBee have teamed up for the release of Bee Here Now Belgian Golden Strong Ale in celebration of Pollination Week. The beer is available on draft and in very limited bottles beginning on June 21 at all three HUB locations.

Bee Here Now is a Belgian-Style beer made entirely with organic ingredients, including malted wheat, rye, and GloryBee clover honey. Organic red clover blossoms were added in the hop back instead of hops, giving the beer a complex floral aroma and flavor. At 9.5% abv, it’s warming on the back end as the honey rounds off the palate.

Join GloryBee and HUB on June 21 to celebrate pollinator pathways at HUB’s SE Portland brewpub. That day HUB will donate $1 from every glass of Bee Here Now to SAVE the BEE, an organization that works to expand research to improve honeybee health and nutrition in addition to combating colony collapse disorder. HUB will have a honey based food special and at 6pm there will be a toast and GloryBee will give away a gift basket.
