English OlEnglish Olde Ale fermented and aged in Bourbon barrels
Bucket Hat Bobby’s was brewed as a rich English Olde ale with our choice Maris Otter malt. After an extended boil it went straight from the kettle into Bourbon barrels where it patiently waited for the entirety of it’s stay. This beer has many layers to unpack. Abundant notes of toffee, raisin, pie cherry, vanilla, and brown sugar. The Bourbon barrels weigh in heavily imparting a lovely balancing tanic quality and proper touch of cellar character. Perfect by a fire, as a digestif, or warming up after a day out in the cold.
