Seattle Mariners in cooperation with Ethan Stowell and the regional brewers of the Pacific Northwest invites you to visit T-Mobile Park.

Ask most whom are not fast-fans of baseball and they will opine the sheer sluggard pace at which the sport moves. True, baseball can be described as slow, moving at a tortoise-like pace, and flat out dull much in the same way one might describe reading a novel or watching Masterpiece Theater. For others, Baseball is as strategic as a ground assault, as patience-demanding as a lure in a river, and as exciting as a summertime fireworks presentation at night. So for the fan and the lay-fan, we say welcome to another season of Mariners baseball! So here's a breakdown of what one can expect, from a beer drinker's perspective. Oh and further down, we cover the new food menu at the ballpark, which of course is served side-by-side with perennial favorites.

Starting this Thursday, March 28th, the following is a sample of the brewed-beers awaiting you for the Seattle Mariners' 2019 regular season. Breaking it down we start with beers, regionally-owned. Be on the lookout for 12-ounce cans of Bale Breaker Top Cutter and Ruben's Crikey IPA for the value discount of $6.

Breweries regionally-owned

  • Aslan Dawn Patrol. Located on your way into downtown Bellingham, Aslan shares one of their most popular beers for your to enjoy. "This beer is mild yet complex in its delivery. The hop presence is noticed by subtle flavors of pineapples that meld beautifully with the slightly spicy and minty character derived from the use of Rye malt. A somewhat recently pioneered style, this Pacific Ale is delivered unfiltered to accentuate its fresh farm to glass, unprocessed, organic qualities." Look for Dawn Patrol, available on draft, at the ballpark while supplies last.

  • Bale Breaker Top Cutter India Pale Ale. Available in 12-ounce cans, here is what the brewery had to say about Top Cutter IPA. "Hops dominate the aroma and flavor of this beer. Primary aroma and flavors are pine, citrus, and floral. Traditional West Coast IPA that finishes dry. Smooth and drinkable.

  • Bale Breaker Leota Mae IPA. "Medium-high aroma intensity. Hops are very dominant with primary aromas of berry, tropical fruit, herbal, and pine. Pronounced flavor intensity, with hops again dominating. Flavors of grass, resin, fruity, and dank. Very little malt aroma or flavor. Intense bitterness with very dry character and medium body."

  • Black Raven Trickster IPA. "In mythology, the raven can play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules, hence the name Trickster. This well-balanced IPA has a light fruit, citrus and piney hop aroma with a full hop flavor. With delicately balanced malt and hops and a 6.9% ABV, this beer has truly earned its name. Available year-round.". One of Redmond's best brewed India Pale Ales, look for Trickster on draft this year.

  • Breakside Pilsner. "Traditional German-style lager with clean bitterness. Very light, crisp and refreshing." Couldn't sum it up any better. This beer will be a great alternative to the pales and india pale ales of the ballpark.

  • Chuckanut Kolsch. Brewed in the Kolsch-style, Chuckant Kolsch is a multi-award-winning lager and one worth enjoying while passing the time at ballpark. "Kölsch German Style Ale is made exclusively in the city of Cologne, Germany. Kölsch is a blonde, top fermented ale brewed from pilsner malt. Bitterness is restrained, and the palate is light-bodied and dry with a soft malt flavor in the center giving way to a dry finish...". Look for this on draft at select locations within T-Mobile Park.

  • Diamond Knot IPA. "Full-bodied. Deep & earthy. Piney. Smooth, malty finish. " From one of the regions multi-decade-old breweries, Diamond Knot Industrial awaits you.

  • Double Mountain Vaporizer. Windsurfing and the great outdoors await those who make the trip to Hood River's Double Mountain Brewery. So consider this an opportunity to sample what awaits you on your next road trip. "Challenger hops, Pilsner malt, and our house yeast strain are the headliners in this easy pale. The result is agile, alluringly herbal, and supremely refreshing. The dry hop really makes this one sing."

  • Dru Bru Pacific Crest Ale. As one of the few breweries at the base of Snoqualmie Pass, Dru Bru truly is a destination brewery for skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. This might explain why the brewers at Dru Bru produced a rewarding beer after a day spent in the outdoors (or even one's own backyard). "PCP is a hazy golden ale brewed with Ekuanot and Mosaic hops. Locally grown malt and oats from the Skagit Valley provide a smooth malt backbone which combines with berry, melon, and citrus hop aromas to create a perfect hiking refreshment."

  • Ecliptic Carina Peach Sour. Owned and operated by regional brewery legend, John Harris, Ecliptic Brewery is a conjunction of beer, astronomy, and food in the Rose City of Portland. Here's what the brewery had to say about this unique sour. "Carina Peach Sour Ale takes its name from the constellation Carina, the keel of the ship Argo in the southern sky. Loaded with fresh peach flavor, Carina is a sour ale perfect for any time of year. The use of Pale malt makes for a crisp character, while lactobacillus gives Carina a tart and refreshing finish." Look for this on draft throughout the ballpark.

  • Fremont Summer Ale. "Summer Ale tastes like tangerine flowers in a glass, endless days brewed into nectar of barley and hops. Four-hundred twenty reasons to enjoy this beer. Our answer to bigger is better, Summer Ale is as simple as craft beer gets."

  • Georgetown Bohdizafa. "This IPA gets its light silky texture from rolled oats. The flavor and aroma both express mandarin and citrus all around. Over five pounds of hops per barrel makes this IPA truly Bodhilicious. Gold medal winner in the American Style IPA category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2016!"

  • Groundbreaker GF Pale Ale. For those who cannot enjoy a pint of water, malt, yeast, and hops; Portland's Groundbreaker Brewing has the solution. "Pale Ale is brewed to be bright and crisp. We dry hop with Cascade and Meridian hops to provide a floral aroma with elements of citrus and pine." Look for this beer, available in 16-ounce cans at the ballpark.

  • Maritime Pacific Old Seattle Lager.

  • Mac & Jack Blackcat Porter. A local classic, Blackcat Porter is a draft porter summarized as. "Cocoa, coffee, and smoky notes of dark-roasted barley combine to form the Blackcat Porter’s aroma profile. Notes of chocolate and coffee welcome the taste buds, finishing dry with a bit of smokiness that slowly becomes more present as the beer lingers on the palate. Although dark in color, the porter has a relatively light body and very low bitterness making it a more sessionable porter that can be enjoyed year round."

  • Mac & Jack Serengeti Wheat. Backing up their Porter, Mac & Jack's is pleased to share their Serengeti Wheat with those looking for something "lighter". "A crisp, refreshing American style Hefeweizen that is brewed with the best ingredients the Northwest has to offer. We use 50% locally sourced two-row pale malt and 50% locally grown northwest malted wheat well above the required 30% wheat additions to be called a wheat beer. This Northwest style Hefeweizen is unfiltered for a "cloudy" appearance and brewed with plenty of Yakima valley hops yielding a wonderful citrus finish, delicious with or without a lemon garnish."

  • Ninkasi Prismatic IPA. "Full of juicy hop aroma and flavor, Prismatic’s colorful hop experience is citrusy, tropical and fruity with a subtly sweet malt and a balanced finish. Notes of pineapple, passionfruit and guava excite and linger on the palate." Keep your eyes peeled for draft-only opportunities to enjoy a glass of Prismatic.

  • No-Li Big Juicy IPA. "Bright citrus and tropical fruit hop aromas lead the way. A light malt foundation provides a platform for Citra, El Dorado, Belma and Azacca tropical and citrus flavors to shine. Mellow bitterness just balances the fruity notes in this hop forward, golden-colored IPA." On draft throuout the ballpark.

  • pFriem IPA. "Light copper with off-white foam. Dank aromas of peach, citrus, papaya, and blueberry. Bright flavors of lychee fruit, grapefruit, and light candy maltiness. Finishes fresh, hoppy, and piney, with a touch of grapefruit rind." Another beer from The George, pFriem IPA is sure to be a fun beer pairing well with friends, strangers, and the occasional foul ball.

  • Pike Place Pale Ale. "A balanced farm-to-tap beer brewed with Skagit Valley Alba malt and citrus-forward Yakima Valley hops. Updated and reintroduced in 2016, Pike Place Ale was the first beer brewed by Pike back in 1989. Pike Place Ale supports local farmers and the Pike Place Market Foundation." Truly, a beer that benefits more than others.

  • Pike Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale. Brewed in the belly of The Pike Place Market, Pike Brewing Company's Kilt Lifter is a highly celebrated Scotch Ale. Available in 16-ounce cans, this is what the brewery had to say about their most popular beer. "Layers of sweet malt, reminiscent of caramel and toffee, are accented by a wee whisper of peat smoke, making this versatile beer the best-selling in Pike Brewing’s history. Pike Kilt Lifter pours a ruby-amber color, with its rich malts drawing your attention, and finishes with a slight piney hop character."

  • Reuben’s Hazalicious India Pale Ale. As one Seattle's of the fastest, locally-owned, breweries Reuben's Brews' Hazelicious IPA is, like the brewery, a reliable Hazy IPA to enjoy either at the ballpark or while listening to the game in your backyard. Need more inspiration to try this beer? Here's how they summed up this beer. "Hazealicious IPA is juicy, with a soft bitterness, providing a perfect balance for a hazy IPA. Tropical aromas, particularly kiwi and passionfruit, come from a bold blend of Citra, Strata, and Mosaic hops. The show-stopping hops are balanced and gently restrained by a pillowy malt body."

  • Reuben’s Brews Pilsner. "Our czech-style pilsner. A clean, crisp, and bright lager with bready malt notes and spicy traditional hops. "

  • Reuben's Brews Crikey IPA. "Crikey ipa ("Cry-key") has a hop profile led by notes of citrus, tangerine & tropical fruit with a little pine in the background. The malt backbone provides balance to every sip."

  • Silver City Supafly IPA. Brewed a short ferry ride away, in the Bremerton, Silver City Brewery is pleased to offer this unique spin on the trend-setting, Hazy India Pale Ale category. "Supa-fresh, supa-dank, supa-fragrant hop deliciousness dancing around a supa-hazy, yet delicate malt profile brought to life by a specialized yeast. Inspired by our love of the local music scene and the friendships we've made along the way." Look for 12-ounce cans of Silver City Supafly throughout the ballpark.

  • Sumerian Narcissism IPA. "Our hop driven West Coast style IPA, uses 6 hops, but the main players is loads of Equinox & Mosaic that create a dense, dank, piney aromatics with hints of pineapple and citrus peel on the finish."

Breweries owned out of state.

  • 21st Amendment Blood Orange Brew Free! or Die! IPA. Hailing from the San Francisco and a line-drives distance from Oracle Park, 21st Amendment's Blood Orange IPA will wake the senses, if the 12-ounce can's catchy artworks doesn't first. Brewed with Blood Oranges, the brewery summed up this beer like this. "Four hop varieties and seven blood oranges ago, our founders brought forth in this brewery, a new beer, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that not all IPAs are created equal. Because sometimes, real fruit just makes things even more delicious."

  • Big Sky Moose Drool. "Our american brown ale is brewed with four different malts and hop additions consisting of east kent goldings, willamette and liberty. This is the best american brown ale in the world. Light on the palate. Rich mahogany color. Subtle coffee and cocoa notes balanced with a pleasant bitterness.". A classic american brown ale, look for Moose Drool inside the ballpark, on draft.
