For three weekends, Queen Anne Beerhall celebrates Oktoberfest, starting September 28th and 29th.

… Bust out your Lederhosen, Queen Anne Beerhall is excited to announce the return of Oktoberfest! The third-annual celebration will take place across three weekends, September 28th-29th, October 5th-6th and October 12th-13th.

Beer drinkers can get into the spirit with Weihenstephaner Festbier, a full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager brewed specially for the season. Festival attendees can also take home a commemorative Queen Anne Beerhall Radeberger stein. There will be plenty of food to soak up all that bier, with hearty specials including Rabbit Stew, Venison Roulladen and Chicken Paprikash.

Nightly stein-holding contests bring athleticism and some healthy competition to the Beer hall. Every night at 8 PM entrants can compete for swag and glory. On October 16th, the last night of the festival, all previous weekend winners will be invited back to compete in a finals round, with the strongest of the strong winning a pair of Seahawks tickets.

As in years past, fan favorites The Bavarian Beer Garden band will perform a set of their signature polka and Oktoberfest schlager music on October 12th.

The weather may be getting colder, but you can still beat the Seattle Freeze by cozying up to a table full of strangers with a frosty stein! Queen Anne Beerhall’s large space, communal tables and authentic European vibe make for the perfect Oktoberfest setting. Mark your calendars and start pumping up those stein-holding muscles!
