Counterbalance Brewing celebrates the end of summer with a beer release, September 29th

Press Release

Welcome the arrival of fall with the dual releases of our 2018 Fresh Hop Ale and the triumphant return of Bad Wolf Dark Ale, back from its summer sabbatical. Outdoor beer garden with games, food from Chavoya’s Hot Dogs, Seattle Sounders vs Colorado Rapids on the tube, and other shenanigans. Additional details will be posted on our Facebook event as we approach the event date: https://www.facebook.com/events/1779681738818044/

The Counterbalance 2018 Fresh Hop Ale is a bright, fragrant ale featuring fresh Willamette Valley Amarillo hops and flavors of lemon, orange, and spice. It’s an ideal accompaniment for a last gasp of summer and the perfect counterbalance to…

Bad Wolf Dark Ale. This category-defying beer was the very first beer we brewed commercially, and we’re excited to bring it back for fall 2018. Bad Wolf is an ale unto itself, featuring a silky mouthfeel, flavors of toffee, cocoa, and a balanced layer of piney hop bitterness. Call it what you want. We just call it a Dark Ale and we love it.

For wholesale customers, pre-orders for ½ and ⅙ barrel kegs of both beers can be emailed to sales@counterbalancebeer.com. Availability is limited so pre-order now and join us on the 29th to get your first taste.

Counterbalance Brewing Company, owned and operated by Jeff Howell and Frank Lawrence, opened its doors and launched wholesale distribution in February 2015. Counterbalance beers are distributed to bars, restaurants, and retail locations throughout Washington by Vinum Importing & Distributing.
