Back for another year, Mother Earth Brewing Company’s Wet Hop Dreams once again reminds you that the fresh hop season isn’t over with you yet. Made with the trend-setting Sabro hop varietal, the brewers of Nampa and Vista seeminling combine alchemy and mysticism, to release unique farm-to-glass india pale ale.
An approachable 6.7% alcohol by volume (ABV), you might be surprised you're drinking a single hop, fresh hop, india pale ale. But selecting Sabro isn’t just a gimme, there’s something more to the process of selecting Sabro. With more on the process is Chris Baker, Director of Brewing Operations at Mother Earth.
“We’ve been experimenting with this varietal a bit in our Project X Series and were really impressed with the results. Some hops can be tricky to work with on their own but we felt that Sabro had a lot of unique flavor and aroma qualities that needed to be explored without the influence of other hops. Of course, when you have the opportunity to get them fresh, you can really capture the true essence of the hop.”
With notes of tangerine, coconut, tropical mango, as well as tart stone fruit aromatics, Sabro doesn’t settle just there. Hints of cedars? Check. Mint? Check. Cream? Yep!
