No-Li Brewhouse and Spokane Hoopfest have collaborated for Hoopfest 2019

Press Release

… We are excited to announce that No-Li Brewhouse and Spokane Hoopfest have partnered up for Hoopfest 2019!  This collaboration is designed to build community, excitement, and awareness throughout the Pacific Northwest for both the basketball tournament and craft beer.

True lovers of basketball are always tracking their favorite teams and players. From rebounds and points to steals and blocks, statistics are a big part of the game. With #Hoopfest2019 only 50 days away, we wanted to hype our fans with some Hoopfest stats!

• Total teams: 6,000
• Volunteers: 3,000
• Fans: 225,000
• Courts: 450
• City Blocks: 45

Spokane Hoopfest is the largest 3on3 outdoor basketball tournament on Earth. Beyond basketball, it is an outdoor festival with shopping, food, and interactive entertainment. Some might have a hard time connecting beer and basketball, but we know this partnership is a slam dunk.

No-Li Brewhouse has been a staple of craft beer in the Pacific Northwest since 2012.  The family owned and operated brewery was Born & Raised in Washington’s Inland Empire, and is an internationally award-winning brewery. Our innovative beers are made in Spokane, using ingredients sourced from within 300 miles of Spokane.

No-Li is giving away Hoopfest pint glasses on Thursdays in the month of May when you purchase a pint of our Red, White & No-Li pale ale at the No-Li pub in Spokane, WA.

Hoopfest and No-Li will use this partnership to raise $12,000 in June for Ignite Basketball Association through fundraising and donating $10 from each keg sold in Washington State.

Ignite Basketball Association (formerly known as Midnight Basketball Association) is a community and school-based outreach program that offers a safe, constructive alternative for area youth in grades 6, 7, and 8. The goal is to strengthen participants’ character, self-esteem,  and discipline so they are better equipped and prepared for the challenges of their teen years and beyond. This youth basketball program targets the population within the central urban neighborhood of Spokane’s School District No. 81. While basketball is the foundation of this league, the motivational workshops and recreational activity are also crucial elements.

As an avid hoops fan, we think you should join us the last weekend in June to experience it for yourself…and while you’re at it, grab a pint of No-Li beer to support IBA. Rise up and help us raise $12,000 to enrich the lives of local youth through the love of the game. It will feel good, and taste good too!
