Matchless Ol Lifewine '17 Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barleywine
For "Ol’ Lifewine," we employed a labor-intensive, almost forgotten English mashing technique known as double mash. The result of so much time and energy is a beer rich in flavor and huge in mouthfeel. Our mash bill resulted in a beer with a body of velvet, carried along by rich vanilla, dried stone fruit, chocolate, toasted nuts, and dark caramel. Smooth and rich this is a beer to celebrate beer.
