Snoqualmie, Washington – As part of our Special Release program, the Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company is excited to re-release its smash hit, Sunny Si, on May 1st. This delicious Citra hopped IPA will now be available for widespread distribution through August. This beer wonderfully displays the marvelous character of Citra hops, which have a rich aroma of tropical fruit, especially mango and papaya. Sunny Si is 6.6% ABV and is brewed to 75 IBUs with a grist of Two Row, Aromatic, Munich, C-15 and Carapils malts, and is bittered with Columbus hops with the Citra hops for aroma and flavor.

Sunny Si pairs excellently with warm weather foods like grilled shrimp, cebollitas, and fruit salad.

Sunny Si is named after nearby Mount Si (pronounced “sigh”) which was itself named for Josiah “Uncle Si” Merritt, one of the earliest white settlers in the Snoqualmie area. Mount Si is a popular climb for hikers, and the difficult 4 mile trail gains 3,500 feet in elevation.
