Pike Wolf in the Woods Fresh Hop Ale 2017
Autumn is hop harvest season in the Yakima Valley and the only time of year to enjoy fresh hop beers, which singularly capture the hop’s most fleeting flavors and essence. Moving quickly from bine to kettle, our brewers use their freshly picked hop flowers within 12 hours of harvest.
The 2017 Wolf in the Wood was brewed with Loral hops, a newer aroma hop known for its floral aromas and lemon citrus, pepper and dark fruit flavors.
MALT VARIETIES: ESB, Munich, Carapils, Malted Wheat, Rolled Oats
HOP VARIETIES: Centennial and Mosaic for bittering, fresh whole flower Loral hops.
