Patch Cut Pumpkin Ale, Beardslee Public House
A robust slice of pumpkin pie in a glass featuring classic pie spices and a lot of pumpkin. Pumpkin Ale dates back to the early 12th century when it was used to augment grain for its fermentable sugars. Today, spices are added to make pumpkin ales taste like pumpkin pie. “Patch Cuts” are logging cuts too small to be considered clear cuts.
