The International Brewing & Cider Awards announces 2024's judging panel for "Most Historic Cider".

The International Brewing & Cider Awards will take place in March 2024 at Depot Mayfield in Manchester, UK. Cidermakers from across the globe are invited to enter their finest ciders to be blind judged by an international panel of commercially practicing expert cidermakers from around the world, and gain recognition on an international stage.

Depot Mayfield in Manchester is the site of a public festival, alongside the International Brewing & Cider Awards.

For the first time in its 137-year history, the Awards will be accompanied by a public festival – The International Brewing & Cider Festival, which will be a two-day ticketed event for the public, showcasing the range of beers and ciders entered into the competition from around the world, together with local manufacturers.

Coleman Agriculture invites both brewery and imbibers to learn more about fresh hop season!

The Washington Beer Awards start accepting registrations tomorrow, June 30th.

The registration period will be open from June 30th to July 21st with entries due between August 11th and August 25th.  Winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Washington Craft Beer Summit in early November.  Results will be posted online immediately afterwards.

Yakima Chief Hops announces their 6th annual Veterans Blend, benefitting Homes For Our Troops.

Since 2004, Homes For Our Troops has built over 360 specially adapted homes for Veterans with 70 projects currently underway, enabling them to rebuild their lives. “These homes allow guys and gals to move forward and pursue college degrees, get trade certifications, start, or grow families, pursue careers,” says Bill Ivey, Executive Director of Homes For Our Troops. “A mortgage-free specially adapted home is the supporting effort; it’s the platform for our main effort, helping these Veterans to rebuild their lives”.  HFOT is a top-rated charity dedicated to restoring some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country.

River Barrel Distributing is distributing beers from Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Ireland; via collaboration with the Global Beer Network.

Ballard brewery Reuben's Brews is selling their original brewery location, including equipment.

With 1,440 square feet, the current brewing maximum capacity for the space is approximately 800 barrels per year, and the sale includes the space and equipment needed to begin brewing: ● 1,080 sq ft main floor - includes brewing area, tap area, cooler, and bathroom ● 360 sq ft mezzanine with opportunity for storage, seating, and office

Winners of this year's Best of Craft Beer Awards announced, including breweries Sunriver, Humble Parlor, and Widmer Brothers.

Breweries of all sizes sent over 16,000 containers of their finest product for evaluation entered in 59 categories and subcategories.

Judging took place during a 3-day, five-session period by over 100 of the most qualified international judges. They awarded 165 gold, silver, and bronze medals to 128 brewery locations around the world.

Zwickelmania returns during Oregon Craft Beer Month, February 18th.
