Today, as people take to the sidewalks and roads for some sunny exploration, consider stopping into a Von Ebert brewery taproom for the debut of Never Tell.

Brewed in the key of an Imperial IPA, Never Tell is an imperial version of Volatile Substance, their popular India Pale Ale. That same Volatile Substance has garnered medals at the 2019 North American Beer Awards and recognized by the Oregonian and OregonLive’s 2019 Beer of the year. Oh, and it (Never Tell) is a bronze medal winner at 2020 Oregon Beer Awards.

Like it’s smaller sibling, Never Tell is brewed with Mosaic and Simcoe hops, resting on a bed of Pils and Vienna malts. Besides this now familiar recipe, the brewery include the addition Australian-grown Galaxy hops to add a more diverse experience.

Expect some of the same mixed-berry, pine, and dank hop character present in Volatile Substance, but in a version pushing it to the next level.

Arriving hot at 10% ABV (alcohol by volume) and 102 IBU (international bittering units), Never Tell is the breweries first pub-exclusive beer and will also be available in a small amount of cans.
