Ballard breweries Stoup, Reuben's Brews, Lucky Envelope, & Populuxe announces the date of this year's Ballard Oktoberfest.

Press Release

SEATTLE, WASH. (August 28, 2019) – Dust off your lederhosen and get ready to put a little oompah in your day. The Ballard Oktoberfest is coming back for its third year!

On Saturday, Sept. 14, four Ballard breweries will bring a little bit of Bavaria to the Ballard corridor with a neighborhood Oktoberfest crawl made possible in part by returning sponsor Verity Credit Union.

“Once again, Verity Credit Union is thrilled to team up with the Ballard brewing community to sponsor the Fourth Annual East Ballard Oktoberfest”, says Jake White, Ballard Branch Manager.  “Spending the afternoon with our neighbors, brewers, and an amazing Oompah band is the perfect way to celebrate this community tradition.  We look forward to passing free giveaways to help attendees commemorate the day”.

The event will kick off in festive fashion with a traveling oompah band. The Oompah Machine will start playing at Reuben’s Brews at 1 p.m. They will then march revelers to Stoup Brewing at 2 p.m., Lucky Envelope at 3 p.m. and Populuxe Brewing at 4 p.m.

Each brewery will have at least one special Oktoberfest brew and a limited-edition 0.5 liter commemorative stein or boot. You can purchase glassware for $6 empty or $10 filled.

And because it’s not a party without great food each brewery will also have a food truck on site.

Here are some of the seasonal brews:
