Brewed at Old Town Brewing Company, Reuben's Brews releases of Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA June 22nd, at their main taproom.
This coming Saturday, June 22nd, both Seattle and Portland will participate in a simul-release, celebrating the collaboration of Reuben's Brews and Old Town Brewing Company. The collaboration in question? That's the "Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA" of course. Originally brewed at Old Town Brewing, this the beer's description alone will no doubt inspire thoughts of Magnum P.I., Hawaii Five-0 or tiny umbrellas.
The perfect summer companion. Pacific-sized waves of ripe pineapple floods the palate delivering an ocean full of juicy and fruity character, rounded out by a welcomed toasted coconut finish with hints of vanilla and heavy cream. Paris [sic] best with questionably bold Hawaiian shirt and toe rings.

While Portland's Old Town Brewing Company is hosting a tiki-themed, Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA, release party, Reuben's Brews will be going casual during this simul-release of Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA at 11 am June 22nd.

Besides Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA, Reuben's Brews will also be releasing a fresh batch of their collaboration India Pale Ale, International Juice. Originally brewed with Alvarado Street Brewing Company, International Juice is a bold, juicy IPA with of Mosaic and Amarillo hops. The end result is 6% ABV, 50 IBU, and a beer with notes of passion fruit, mango, oranges, and other citrus fruit.
Look for both Tiki Room Piña Colada Hazy IPA and International Juice to be available, when Reuben's Brews opens their doors on Saturday, June 22nd, at 11 am.

Historic ties to Portland run deep within Old Town. Opening its doors as a family-run pizzeria in April of 1974, Old Town Pizza became a hub for like-minded people with a radical agenda. It stood as a beacon for the local community; a place to break bread and enjoy your neighbor. Over 40 years later, not much has changed in that regard. Built within the heart of the historic Old Town neighborhood, inside one of Portland's oldest standing buildings (The Merchant Hotel), Old Town Pizza & Brewing is a relic of past and present.
Adam Milne, a devoted Old Town Pizza customer, celebrated his ninth birthday at the restaurant and immediately fell in love. That experience stuck with him until 2003, when he purchased the downtown pizzeria from the Accuardi family. In 2008, Adam built a second location in the Northeast district of Portland, in his very own neighborhood, which would soon become Old Town Brewing. To compliment [sic] the rich historic build of the downtown pizzeria, the new location was constructed using reclaimed materials that circa'd the 1800-1900's, evoking an atmosphere of Northwest authenticity and sustainability. Three years later, OTB began filling its first tanks with beer. With a passion for community, it was only a matter of time before Milne discovered that same passion inside the beer community. This driving force has lead to two major expansions, a number of prominant [sic] awards, packaged beer, distribution, new jobs, and a deep obsession to make some of the world's best beer possible.
