Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest returns to Des Moines, August 24th.

The Rotary Club of Des Moines and Normandy Park invites you to attend the 10th Annual Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest on Saturday August 24, 2019 from 12-8pm. This event is the prime fundraiser for our Highline Music4Life program expanding music to youth in our local schools. 

This year we are pleased to celebrate Women who Rock the Blues featuring:
Stacy Jones Band 12:30 - 2:00
Polly O'Keary and the Rhythm Method 2:30 - 4:00
Lisa Mann 4:30 - 6:00
Karen Lively Band 6:30 - 8:00.

Service Above Self: Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, 100% of the net proceeds raised by this event support the Rotary Club of Des Moines and Normandy Park’s charitable projects including our primary beneficiary Highline Music4Life.

To complement your blues and brews, we will be featuring a variety of fine foods. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event. 

Micro-Brews, Wines and Hard Ciders featured include: Deschutes Brewery, Georgetown Brewing, Bad Jimmy’s Brewing, Two Beers Brewing Seattle Cider Company, Ghostfish Brewing, Chatter Creek Cider, Rogue Ales and more to come!

No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of parking with a free shuttle circulating town on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market. 

TICKETS
Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the gate. Six tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings are one Token!
