Located in Lacey, Washington, Top Rung Brewing was founded by firefighters who dedicated their lives at fires stations at McLane/Black Lake Fire Departments. Staring with a modest 1/2 barrel brewery, owners Jason Stoltz and Casey Sobol, have created a sanctuary for those who call Lacey their home or those who risk their lives every day, saving lives. Without any hubris, both Casey and Jason would deflect away from their careers as firefighters, away from their everyday sacrifice, and instead invite you to enjoy one of their beers. If you've never visited Lacey, let alone Top Rung Brewing Company, next Saturday (April 27th) would be a great opportunity to check out Top Rung Brewing company.

Celebrating 5 years, Top Rung's anniversary party will not only showcase the beers that locals love but also feature a special Ginger Lime Pale, as well as limited edition barrel-aged beer. In addition to beers, the brewery will feature food from Wicked Pies food truck, live music, and much more. Recognizing the significance of this milestone, the brewery will have an area of the brewery set aside to the first 40 who purchase VIP tickets. The brewery promises those who scoop up a ticket, they won't be disappointed.

The party gets underway at 12 pm and ends at 9 pm with tickets on sales at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4201923.

Top Rung Brewing is located at 8343 Hogum Bay Lane NE in Lacey. For more information visit https://www.toprungbrewing.

About Top Rung Brewing

It all started as a dream, a passion for brewing, a 1/2 bbl system, and two firefighters looking for some escape from the rigors of their full-time jobs.  Both Jason and Casey work as firefighters with the McLane/Black Lake Fire Department.  As friends and co-workers they were very interested in learning more about the art of one of their favorite past times, drinking craft beer.  They were interested in dissecting the brewing process and took up home brewing.  After a couple years of brewing they entered their HoseChaser Blonde in the Dicks Brewing "Beer for a Cure" event and won first place.  After that they continued to work hard at conducting a great deal of research and market analysis and determined there was a need for more craft beer in the South Sound.  Their hobby suddenly turned into more.  After some rigorous work and a well vetted business plan, both Jason and Casey opened Top Rung Brewing in April of 2014.

Casey and Jason maintain the same integrity, dedication, and drive that they share in their role as firefighters in the brewery.  This attention is put into every batch of beer, every customer that enters the tap room, and every customer that grabs a bottle of Top Rung in the local grocery or a pint at their favorite drinking hole.  As a company Top Rung is dedicated to producing great craft beer for our customers.
