The brewers and staff at Farmstrong Brewing have passed along their new releases in time for coping through another season of Tulip Festival road rage.
Starting with Goldenrod, the brewery invites you to enjoy this beer described as having notes of citrus and spice, while somehow managing a modest amount of alcohol burn. Overall this beer will remind you of fresh pears, fresh pepper, and oranges. Take Farmstrong's advice and sip don't chug this 8.1% ABV beer. Look for this on draft at their taproom after making a failed attempt to head south on the weekend.
Following up on their heat-seeker of a beer, Farmstrong announces the upcoming release of Gordon Haze Double IPA. Inspired by a chance meetup with this namesake's personage, Gordon Blaze might inspire thoughts of strawberries, dark fruits, and fresh squeezed lemons.
We thought there were certain rules and standards that never change. Hills to die on, yadda yadda yadda. Months ago a being named Gordon Blaze came into our lives and changed the way we thought about everything. Our eyes were opened, our rules now made to be broken. We learned to embrace the hazy, the juicy, the things folks crave. Starting with a Skagit Valley Malting base and throwing an insane amount of Loral and Mandarina Bavarian hops at this magical elixir we created a real juicy double that finds clarity to be a little overrated.
As part of the brewery’s Cultivator Series, look for Gordon Haze to be available in the coming week, starting April 20th, at the brewery's taproom.
