For the first time ever Ecliptic Brewing Company is happy to announce the canning of their Phobos Single Hop Red Ale.

Named after the Martian moon that circles Mars, the beer gets is the crimson color from eight unique malts while those same malted grains are responsible for inspiring thoughts of caramel with every sip. Acting as a sort of Yang, to the malted grains' Yin, is uniquely-named Azacca hops, whose namesake is derived from the Haitian god of harvest. One sniff and you cannot help but ponder sandy beaches at night, under the stars, while recalling the taste of tropical or citrus fruits like spicy mango, pineapple, or tangerines.
Unfortunately, canned Phobos like a celestial event is one a one-off and may not repeat again.
Fortunately, Belmont Station in conjunction with the crew at Ecliptic Brewing Company will be hosting a release night featuring six-packs of Phobos as well as draft-varieties of this uniquely designed Red Ale. Starting at 5 pm and concluding at 8 pm, customers will have a chance to stop into Belmont Station, at 4500 SE Stark Street in Portland, to ask the brewery staff questions while sipping on one of the following Phobos-inspired creations.
