"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." – Helen Keller

Human beings by their very nature are competitive. It's the driving force, the fuel perpetuating evolution and it's the very reason we are the most dominant species on the planet. It also explains why every facet of our lives is inspired by competition. Without competitiveness, you would not have the smartphone in your hand, the garments adoring your frame, or the fuel transporting you from point a to point b. On rare occasions, competition can be reforged into cooperation as like-minded businesses collectively support of a cause.

Straight from the headlines from the past month, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company recently announced their support of families, friends, and strangers impacted by the Camp Fire; by brewing a special IPA called Resilience. with the goal of donating proceeds from every pint and keg sold towards the victims of the Camp Fire, Sierra Nevada has asked breweries across the nation to join them by brewing Resilience Butte Proud IPA. And the cooperative of independently-owned, craft breweries, didn't just respond by the tens, or hundreds but instead have responded by the thousands. To date, well over a thousand breweries have answered the call including breweries in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

Available in cans and draft, Sierra Nevada Brewing represents the beginning of a unique opportunity to support

Some of the breweries in the Pacific Northwest shared their inspiration behind supporting Sierra Nevada Brewing Company’s goal of raising money for Camp Fire victims.

We are proud to announce that we are joining Sierra Nevada and many others to brew Resilience IPA! 100% of all Resilience sales will be donated to the people who lost everything in the Camp Fire.

In these increasingly divisive times, we need to support one another in the fight against climate change, discrimination, and stand against those who try to divide us!
