Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen takes home six major medals at this year's North American Beer Awards

Press Release

Last year, while Chuckanut Brewery was building its new South Nut facility, they decided to take the year off from sending beers to the North American Beer Awards. Now that South Nut is up and brewing it was decided to enter into the prestigious, long standing beer competition. Chuckanut was richly rewarded with six major medals. Three beers won Gold including Kolsch German Style Ale, Pilsner Lager and Dunkel Lager. The Vienna Lager and Helles Lager each one a Silver Medal and the new Doppelbock won a Bronze Medal!

The 23rd Annual Mountain Brewers Beer Fest held in Idaho celebrates craft beer and holds a beer competition with beers from all over the country at the same time. The judging included 96 different styles of beers with over 1,700 beverages entered. Chuckanut Brewery holds numerous medals from past NABA competitions and was thrilled to receive recognition again this year for its entries. Most of the beers that were awarded medals are on tap at both South (Skagit Valley) and North (Bellingham) Nuts as well as at selected accounts across Puget Sound. Now would be an excellent time to try them and see if you agree with the NABA!
