Press Release

CHICO, CA ... Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. returns to Seattle for Beer Camp on Tour Saturday, June 30, 2017 for its final stop. Presented by the Hop Growers of America, Gas Works Park welcomes more than 90 local and national breweries and the city’s best food trucks, live music and entertainment to the cradle of hops – the Pacific Northwest.

“Last year Bale Breaker Brewing learned about the amazing chance to collaborate with Sierra Nevada around Beer Camp,” said Meghann Quinn, owner of Bale Breaker Brewing. “Hops are in our family’s DNA, and my siblings and I were itching to team up with Sierra Nevada again for Beer Camp this year, and for the opportunity to pour alongside such an incredible community of Pacific Northwest craft brewers here in Seattle.”

Taking place at Gas Works Park, attendees will enjoy:

• Music from Vaudeville Etiquette and The Dip
• A selection of Seattle’s best food trucks, including Where Ya At Matt, 314 Pie, and Street Treats
• Craft beer from local breweries including Fremont Brewing, Pike Brewing Company, and Two Beers Brewing Co., as well as national brewers like 21st Amendment and Sierra Nevada
“Everyone has fun at Beer Camp – attendees, participating brewers, and my family,” says Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada. “It showcases the high-quality, craft beer being brewed in America and gives attendees access to the brewers themselves.” Created by Sierra Nevada, Beer Camp celebrates the spirit of community and collaboration that drives independent brewers nationwide. Every craft brewery in America is invited to pour for thousands of attendees during the eight-city tour, beginning in Portland, Maine, and ending in Seattle, Wash. All proceeds from Beer Camp ticket sales go to brewing non-profits and local brewers’ guilds.
Alongside Beer Camp on Tour, Beer Camp Across the World is a collaboration between Sierra Nevada and 12 breweries from around the globe. Expanding on the concept first introduced in 2014, this year’s one-time collaboration pack represents unique geographies and brewing styles and is only available at select retail outlets. These 12 unique beers, along with hundreds of others, will be available for a special tasting at the festival.
