North Fork Brewing's first of many 20th Anniversary events is December 7th, from 12 pm.

If you've ever set your GPS towards Mount Baker with a desire for white powder, ski lifts, and the smell of campfires, then you've probably driven by an overlooked brewery near Deming, Washington.

Opened on a (no doubt) cold, December night in 1997, Sandy Savage and Vicki Savage sought to not only put Sandy's 1989 Seibel Brewing Technology’s degree to use, while simultaneously providing a sanctuary for their extensive collection of beer memorabilia. But it wasn't until 2000, when recognizing the creative talents of one of its kitchen staff, that Sandy promoted Eric Jorgensen to brewery steward. As of 2017, Eric has remained the brewery's managing brewer birthing not only traditional ales and lager but also some of the most overlooked bottled beers north of Seattle.

Don't believe us? Then you've never set foot through the wooden door, seen countless references beers of brewery-past while sipping on beers complimented with their hand-crafted pizzas.

Which is why we are telling you to stop reading this, get in your car, and set the GPS to North Fork Brewery. This December 7th, from 12pm, the North Fork Brewery is happy to celebrate their 20th year in business, with the first of many events.

Starting at 12 pm, North Fork Brewery will release three beers:

Winter Warmer Ale

... brewed to celebrate 20 years of making beer on the 542."
"It is brewed with a plethora of specialty malts, flaked oats and flaked wheat. Hopped with American and British varieties and then aged in whiskey barrel, finding another Winter Warmer of this character would be like seeing Bigfoot!

Thanks for stopping by The North Fork on your 542 adventures.
