Fremont "B-Bomb" releases, on Black Friday, November 24th. Sales start at 11 am.
If there’s a day more dread-inspiring than Black Friday we can’t think of one. Ok, so maybe the onset of “The Rapture” might be more terrifying but there’s nothing like the images of angry shoppers, literally running over one another to purchase cheap televisions or this year’s ‘it’ toy. Which is why we are suggesting you sleep in and exchange your consumerism for a glass/bottle of Fremont Bourbon-barrel Aged Winter Ale.
Released Friday, November 24th, Fremont’s B-Bomb weighs in at 13.0% and has been described as smelling like “vanilla” and caramel while tasting with notes of “coco”, “bourbon”, and “dried fruit“. Bottles go on sale at 11 am and there’s a 2 per person limit. In addition to bottles, the brewery will have B-Bomb on draught, before showcasing three ”infused“ versions at 5 pm, with the arrival of the B-Bomb mascot, the Yeti.
Fremont Brewing Company’s B-Bomb release will be at their Urban Beer Garden, which is at 1050 N 34th Street in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.

This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel strength Winter Ale. B-Bomb achieves distinct bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure.
