SNOQUALMIE, WA ... On Saturday, October 28, join Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom as it celebrates 20 years bringing the best craft beer to the Pacific Northwest! To mark the occasion, the brewery will release a brand new Imperial India Red Ale. This Imperial India Red Ale is a robust 8.5% ABV Brew tailored to the Pacific Northwest tastes, with a rich and malty flavor from Two Row and C75 malt, and the unique flavor and aroma of Mosaic Hops, suggesting pineapple and tangerine. It is the perfect accompaniment to robust dishes, due to its marvelous flavors and aromas and high hop presence at 60 IBUs. We suggest pairing it with curry or roast beef with mushroom gravy and Yorkshire pudding.
The day will also include an anniversary party not to be missed, including live music by Napun Tasi, a beer related costume contest, swag giveaways, and special food offerings.
“This is a really important milestone,” said Danny Anthony, Sales Representative for Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom. “The fact that we’ve been around for 20 years speaks volumes for the quality of our ales. When we began in 1997, there were only a handful of breweries in Washington, and far fewer in most other states. The growth in the industry has been tremendous, and we’re proud to have been an early and ongoing part of the craft brew revolution.”
Those attending the 20th Anniversary Party will enjoy Happy Hour prices all day. The tap list will include other favorites such as Harvest Moon Festbier, Plant 1 Powerhouse Double IPA and Axe Men Strong Red Ale.
Proceeds from the anniversary party will benefit the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, donating $1 for every pint sold that day. The Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank provides food and key resources to help their neighbors and their community thrive by leading the effort to feed, educate and advocate ending hunger in the Snoqualmie Valley.
