Boardman, Or – Preparing for the onset of dark days and cool, wet weather, Ordnance Brewing has released it’s Fall seasonal – Old Craig, an English Strong Ale and a very limited production whiskey barrel aged Imperial Stout, Bläckfiskey.
Named for managing partner, Craig Coleman, Old Craig is a hearty English style Strong Ale brewed with the addition of brown sugar which gives it a nice candy-like flavor. A light hop character (IBU: 41) brings an Oregon attitude that balances with the natural fruity notes to make this beer a special treat. And, at 8.7 ABV, it's a belly warmer but one with complex flavors and great balance. Old Craig is available in 22 oz bottles and draft throughout the Pacific Northwest.
