PORTLAND, OREGON ... On August 27th, the Ambassador Board of New Avenues for Youth presents Brews for New Avenues– a unique fundraising event that combines the city’s philanthropic spirit with its love of all things craft beer. Now in its fifth year, Brews for New Avenues features the world’s largest rare beer auction as well as exclusive bottlings and kegs from 40+ different local, national and international breweries.
Last year’s event raised more than $58,000 for New Avenues’ programs and services for foster, at-risk and homeless youth, and this year’s is shaping up to be even bigger and better! The event will feature exclusive live auction packages from Cantillon, limited bottles and tastings from a special collaboration between Alt Brau & De Garde Brewing, an expanded “Wall of Beer,” live music from The Student Loan String Band as well as Dirty Revival, food carts, raffles, and more!
“It’s incredible to see breweries, private collectors, generous bidders, and the hundreds of people who attend this event channel their passion for craft beer into being part of the solution to ending youth homelessness,” says Sean Suib, Executive Director at New Avenues for Youth. “With the beer community’s continued support, we look forward to being able to help even more youth overcome their barriers and realize their potential.”

Pre-event sales of tickets are closed; a limited number of tickets will be available at the door the day of event.
