Brewery News: Boardman: Ordnance Brewing expands distribution into Washington.
Press Release
Boardman, Or – The fast moving Oregon craft brewer, Ordnance Brewing, has signed with The Odom Corporation for distribution across Eastern Washington, King and Snohomish County, Northern Idaho and Alaska. This move fills out much of their NW distribution plans and readies the brewery for it's Fall roll out of 22 oz bottles.
The brewery launched in Eastern Washington in early July and now sets sights on planning and rollout scheduling for Seattle later this Summer.
"The Ordnance team came to the table with their ducks in a row and a ready for market. That and their team's vision combined with an excellent line up of beers made it an easy decision to bring them on board," noted John Ioane, Senior Vice President of Sales Eastern WA/Northern ID/AK
In addition to joining the Odom family, Ordnance Brewing has added Bill Kring as their Washington Field Representative. Bill is a former Odom sales representative with years of experience in distribution sales including a long stint with Columbia Distributing. "I was looking for a new, high-quality brand to join and help grow. Ordnance brings it all to the table and I am confident that we are going to build a strong NW brand with a long life span. The beer speaks for itself," commented Bill Kring.
"We're honored to join the Odom lineup of craft brands and look forward to their partnership in our growth and long term vision. They have a great team and understand our goals," added Dewey Weddington, Director of Sales and Marketing at Ordnance Brewing. "Bill joining our team just sweetens the deal. His passion, experience and work ethic are exactly what we need and his energy is a perfect match."
Ordnance Brewing is an outlier, brewery born of necessity in the arid Columbia Plateau where farming and a day of hard work is the norm. Located in Boardman, Oregon, Ordnance Brewing began operations in 2014 with a 7 barrel brewhouse and has recently expanded to a 50 barrel system to support growing distribution and long term plans. Currently, the brewery offers a set of five core beers including Kolsch, FMJ IPA (English Style), EOD IPA (Westcoast style), RX a Rye Extra Pale, a blueberry wheat called Bloops, and a series of limited edition beers. Seeking distribution both domestically and internationally, Ordnance Brewing is poised for steady growth and quality control.
