PORTLAND, Ore. ... From , breweries throughout the city will celebrate Portland Beer Week. Ecliptic Brewing will be celebrating by participating in a series of events, including the return of the popular Brewers and Their Bands.
The complete lineup of Ecliptic’s Portland Beer Week events includes:
Brewers and their Bands at Ecliptic Brewing, 825 N Cook Street
For the third year in a row, Brewers and their Bands will bring together brewers to perform with their bands at Ecliptic. During the performances, Ecliptic will tap beers from each brewer, including Max Skewes from Burnside Brewing, Matt Swihart from Double Mountain, Shaun Kalis from Ruse Brewing, Tony McGee from Lagunitas and Ecliptic’s own John Harris. The Brewers and Their Bands event will take place on Ecliptic’s outdoor patio, which features 20 tables and seating for 120 with expansive views of the city.

Ecliptic+Worthy Hopservatory Tropical Imperial IPA Release at Beer, 1410 SE Stark Street
Celebrate the release of this collaboration beer with Ecliptic Brewmaster John Harris and Worthy Brewmaster Dustin Kellner. This will be the first release of this beer with a collection of other beers from both breweries available at the event.

Masters of IPA at Produce Row, 204 SE Oak Street
Come join several of the industries IPA Masters on the patio! Beer will be poured by IPA Masters from Ballast Point Brewing, Alpine Brewing, Melvin Brewing, Hopworks Brewery, Boneyard Brewing, Hop Valley Brewing, Fremont Brewing, and Ecliptic Brewing. Ecliptic will debut its Starburst IPA at this event.

Barrel-Aged Beer Seminar at Ecliptic Brewing, 825 N Cook Street
Oregon State University presents the Barrel-Aged Beer Seminar: Learn from the masters of non-sour barrel-aged beer on techniques, flavors, variations and different spirit aged barrels and oak. A panel of brewing experts will each share their knowledge and 2-3 of their own rare barrel-aged beers for tasting. Featuring Steve Anderson of Ballast Point Brewing, Matt Lincecum of Fremont Brewing, John Harris of Ecliptic Brewing, and Bed Edmunds of Breakside Brewery.

Beer Belly Dinner at East Burn, 1800 E Burnside Street
Tickets are $40 per person for 5 courses of fine cuisine paired with five Ecliptic beers including their award winning Capella Porter and their pub-only Tarantula Belgian Dubbel Ale. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit The Jeremy Wilson Foundation, a nonprofit health and service organization supporting musicians and their families during medical emergencies. Portland Fruit Beer Fest, North Park Blocks
The world’s first dedicated fruit beer fest will return for its sixth year. At this year’s Portland Fruit Beer Fest, Ecliptic Brewing will premier its Blood Moon India Session Ale made with blood orange puree and lime zest.

Weird Beer Bonanza at Imperial Bottle Shop, 3090 SE Division Street
Portland is known for being weird, and for its delicious beers, so why not combine the two? As part of your Portland Beer week, taste some brews that strayed from the beaten path to scintillate your taste buds with abnormally delicious ingredients and brewing methods. Ecliptic Brewing will premier its Thai Spiced Hyades Belgian Golden Ale.
Brewery Owners Summit at Roscoes, 8105 SE Start Street
Join Roscoe’s for the 4th Annual Brewery Owners Summit. It will be a great opportunity to meet some iconic brewery owners over some of their tasty beers. Some of the owners in attendance will include Rob Widmer, Matt Swihart of Double Mountain, Pat Mcllhenney of Alpine Beer Company, Mike Wright of The Commons Brewery, John Harris from Ecliptic, and more.
Sour Solstice at Imperial Bottle Shop, 3090 SE Division Street
Wrap up PDX Beer Week and kick off the official start of summer at the 2nd Annual Sour Solstice Sour Beer festival! The event will be free, and you can purchase either drink tickets for sample pours or 12oz pours. Ecliptic will feature their Wine Barrel-Aged Ultra Violet Blackberry Sour Ale.

Portland Beer Week & Gigantic Brewing present SNACKDOWN! on
Sunday June 19th at The Evergreen event space above Loyal Legion. SNACKDOWN! is a fun and entertaining food and beer pairing event where 10 of Portland’s best Chefs and 10 Oregon Brewers are paired into 10 Brewer/Chef teams to make their greatest snack and beer pairing. Guests will choose their favorite pairing and the winners will be awarded the SNACKDOWN Belt! Ecliptic Brewing’s John Harris will be paired with P.R.E.A.M Chef, Nick Ford.

Portland Beer Week is a 10-day celebration of craft beer, dedicated to promoting Portland and its diverse craft beer culture. Portland Beer Week is a grassroots organization founded in 2011 as an annual city-wide event. Attendees of Portland Beer Week can expect to both be entertained and enlightened with creative beer pairing events, beer dinners with some of the city’s top chefs, seminars on subjects like barrel-aging and sour beers as well as festivals exploring styles such as the Rye Beer Fest and Portland Fruit Beer Festival.
