BEND, OR ... With summer quickly approaching, people of the PNW are gearing up for camping trips, lazy lake days, and endless adventures of good times with good beers. To protect our amazing backyard, we need to be proactive in restoring the wild lands and for Beer No. 2 in the Sustainable Session Series we’ve teamed up with the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project to do just that.
Wildl and are the tall, rugged forests that creak and call to us. They’re where the wild things are. More than GoodLife playgrounds these native greenifying ecosystems are at fiery risk and need our restoration help. So we’re sticking up for the wood s by donating a portion of Wildland sales to the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project, keepers of Bend wild land working to restore forest health and resiliency to its natural radness . GoodLife Brewing’s Co- Owner/ Head Brewer Curt Plants said, “Growing up in Bend, as the temperatures rose so did everyone’s awareness that fire season is on its way. Each year, it’s gotten wo rse and worse on the West Coast and GoodLife wanted to help be apart of the solution.” The DCFP is working with 19 different agencies/groups to create a unified voice to help develop a game plan beneficial to all while restoring an unhealthy forest to one that will st rive and thrive like it used to.

Coming in at 4.5% and 30 IBU’s, Wildland Session Ale has a p ale , golden straw color with hints of a subtle lemon, orange and hop bouquet. Citra and cascade hops shine through on this crisp blonde ale that doesn't ha ve too much or too little body, but the p erfect balance for a crisp summer day in the PNW !

Wildland Session Ale will be available in 6-pack cans and draft (1/6 BBLS and ½ BBLS) between June and September with distrib ution in Oregon, Washington, Idaho , and Vermont .

For the “Sustainable Session Series,” we’ve teamed up with three organizations to brew three different beers with 1% of total sales benef iting each organization. Beer No. 3 in the series will be Mountain Rescue Session Ale a nd benefits the Deschutes Count y Search and Rescue. Be on the lookout for it early October 2016.
