Fremont Brewing Company has reached out to learn our readers, regarding their upcoming release of Summer Ale.

Summer Ale, is a Pale Ale brewed with 2-Row Pale Malt and Amarillo hops, so it could also be called a S.M.A.S.H. (or Single Malt and Single Hop) Pale Ale.

"... Summer Ale tastes like tangerine flowers in a glassendless days brewed into sweet nectar of barley and hops. Our answer to bigger is better, Summer Ale is as simple as craft beer gets. One grain, one hop. Simplicity, yet so much more. Beer has food value, but food has no beer value.” source, —VWP

At 5.2% and 45 IBU, the beer is almost 'sessionable' but still is refreshing on those days when Spring Cleaning is on your list.

Stop by the brewery on Thursday, March 31st, to pick up a six-pack or sample five different "infusions" of Summer Ale at the Urban Beer Garden.
