The fifth annual after-hours, adults-only Brew at the Zoo beer-tasting event is Thursday, October 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening at the zoo sampling imports, domestics, microbrews, and ciders from a host of breweries, including a lot of local Northwest favorites, at several indoor and outdoor sampling stations in the zoo.

Additional tastings and concessions from Lancer Catering are available for purchase at the event. The evening includes animal encounters and an opportunity to enjoy the zoo’s award-winning Jaguar Cove, Day Exhibit and Humboldt penguin exhibit. Proceeds from this event benefit the zoo’s operations, conservation initiatives locally and around the world, animal care and education programs.

Credit: Ryan Hawk/Woodland Park ZooBrew at the Zoo VIP tickets offer VIP guests early entry to the event at 5:00 p.m., a buffet, a souvenir tasting glass, extra tasting opportunities, a complimentary zoo ticket for a future visit, an assortment of goodies, and access to the Tropical Rain Forest exhibit prior to 6:00 p.m.
Brew at the Zoo guests can hold on to their event ticket and return to the zoo another day to receive $3 off zoo admission (one discount per ticket, cannot be combined with other discounts or offers). The discount is valid through December 31, 2015. Brew at the Zoo at Woodland Park Zoo is for adults 21 and over only—valid ID is required for entry, no exceptions.

Tickets may be purchased online only at www.zoo.org/brew.
General Admission tickets include seven tastings (extra tasting opportunities for VIP), with additional tastings available for purchase. Event ticket does not include parking or admission to the zoo prior to the event. This is an after-hours fundraiser—regular zoo membership admission does not apply.
