More on Amnesia's 10th Anniversary Ale, aged in Bourbon and Red Zinfindel Wine barrels

A Spare no expense, legendary brew commemorating our 10 year journey is here! It is a big, bold Barleywine made from the best malt in the world, the finest Yakima hops and laid to rest for over a year on oak barrels that were formerly home to Red Zinfandel and then to bourbon from Big Bottom Whiskey out of Hillsboro Or.

Starting this week, be on the look out for wax-dipped bottles, in limited amounts, at local special shops.

In fact, here a couple locations that will be selling the beer, along with an opportunity to try it before buying.

  • February 5th, from 6pm to 8pm.

Belmont Station will be selling bottles and draft, while providing tastes of Damnesia India Pale Ale, Dusty Trial Pale Ale and of course 10th Anniversary Barleywine Ale.

Belmont Station is located at 4500 Southeast Stark Street in Portland, Oregon.

  • February 6th, from 5pm to 7pm

Head over to Bottleworks, to enjoy a limited amount of 10th Anniversary, in bottles and draft formats.

About Amnesia Brewing
Having planted our roots in North Portland on what was then a sparce and weathered Mississippi Street in 2004, we grew our little brew pub quickly. So did Mississippi Street. In fact the Mississippi/Williams District is one of the fastest growing areas in Portland. We like to think we had a tiny finger involved in that.  As much as we loved calling Mississippi st. home, over the years, we out grew our space and it was time to take Amnesia to the next level. This brought us to the quaint little burg of Washougal Washington just Northeast of Portland and east of Vancouver. Here we were able to find a building that allowed us space to expand our production as well as produce some new and exciting beers that we couldn't before due to constraints at our Mississippi st. location. Washougal has warmly welcomed us into the community and we are proud to call it home.
