With current temperatures taking a nose-dive, towards the 20s, it's a good time to seek out modes of warmth. For some, a hot apple cider might do the trick, while for others a sweet mug of hot cocoa. For those who favor a false warmth, a glass of Big Time's Old Wooly Barleywine Ale should suffice.

First brewed in 1988, by it's founding brewer Ed Tringali, Big Time Old Wooly is an American-style Barleywine, and is traditionally released December 1st.

Since the first release, the beer has been brewed and re-released, under the supervision of its head brewers. Since 1988 (and starting with its founding brewer) Big Time Old Wooly has been brewed by Ed Tringali, Dick Cantwell, Bill Jenkins, Kevin Forhan, Drew Cluley, and now current brewer Nick Kannarr.
