Brewery News: WA: Elysian Brewing reminds all to visit the Elysian Bar

Seattle - A few weeks ago, the Elysian Bar opened its doors to the public. Located at 1516 2nd Avenue, this marks the brewery’s foray into a cocktail-focused establishment.

During its initial development, the owners conceived a noteworthy kitchen (managed by former Volterra chef Andrew Gribas), lauded bar helmed by Zig Zag's Kacy Fitch, and paired with awesome cocktails from legend Murray Stenson (alongisde Connor O'Brien and Adam Fream).

Fresh seafood and other locally sourced ingredients will hold down the menu, and the cocktails, well, the cocktails will be magnificent at the hands of the in-house masters.  Eighteen Elysian beers will provide an anchor familiar to habitues of Tangletown, Elysian Fields and the original Capitol Hill location, and two beer engines will dispense authentic Elysian cask-conditioned beers. In addition you'll find a handful of barrels scattered about the dining room, in which sour and other wood-aged beers will condition alongside diners, until Elysian's brewers deem them ready for release. Dayglow IPA, anyone? Or perhaps a Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale, or one of the many one-off creations coming out of the four Elysian brewing facilities.

If local reviews by writers, from various publications, is any indication, the bar is fast becoming an anchor for an up and coming neighborhood.

With a strong focus on a incomparable food, and provident cocktails, the Elysian Bar is open to the public.
