If you've got nothing on your calendar, come this Saturday (May 17th), you're encouraged to visit Safeco Field. No, the Mariners aren't hosting a baseball game. No, Paul McCartney isn't stopping by for an encore concert. Instead you're asked the question of what bacon tastes like when you pair it with a (really good) beer. It's called the "Beer and Bacon Classic" and it sounds like something I would like to check out.
Hosted in Major League Baseball parks and stadiums in the United States, this event is a unique opportunity to taste craft beer, and enjoy bacon from over 80 restaurants. For those of you who live in or around Seattle, you'll be happy to know that Safeco Field is hosting this year's inaugural 'B&B Classic'. Included in your $59 (general admission) ticket is access inside ballpark, food and drink samples, as well as live entertainment.
The Bacon and Beer Classic is and will always be an all-inclusive event. General Admission tickets are $59, and they are going fast! Each guest will receive a souvenir Bacon and Beer Classic cup.
About Beer and Bacon Classic hosted at Safeco Field
While this is a national event series, Cannonball Productions works extremely hard to make it a local experience, working and partnering with local businesses and groups to bring together the best the area has to offer. They have partnered with the charity OneBrick, in order to share the experience and bring together volunteers in the Seattle area. Cannonball Productions has also pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from the May 17th event to the ongoing Oso mudslide relief efforts.
