Beer Release: WA: Coming Soon (Again) ... Nothing But Flowers Session IPA

image sourced from Black Raven BrewingDrinking, much like age itself, sometimes matures. For the beer drinker this can be something as subtle as sharing your loyalties (towards a local Pale Ale) with a local India Pale Ale. Or it can be something as dramatic as sampling beers made in Belgium or Germany. Hopefully and eventually one has to expand their interest of beer, beyond just one brewery or style. Then again there are those that have sought out different beer styles with the same fervor of a 16 year old in a 400 horsepower Charger.

But there is one thing that both the ambitious and the cautious agree on - drinking responsibly.

Which is why this writer will, from time-to-time, profess his support of lower alcohol beers - commonly nicknamed as Session beers. Getting to the point I want to remind you that Redmond's (Washington) Black Raven is re-releasing their Session ale, Nothing But Flowers.

This beer was born out of the joy of late night double batch brewing. The whirring of the pumps and the wails of David Byrne led us to this new IPA idea. Built on a simple malt base this IPA will let the hops talk straight to your head. The hope behind this beer was to make a low alcohol IPA that has the same hop aroma and flavor profile of a standard IPA & even some double IPAs out there. Take a sip, sit back and ask yourself, can I get used to this lifestyle? Well, with a bouquet of hop aroma blasting us in the face and fruit flavors of peach, nectarine, & grapefruit backed up with a clean/dry bitterness leaving us wanting more, we sure can. –source, Black Raven Brewing

With a slated release of December 31st and an ABV of 4.90%, I have no doubt that you will be enjoying a few of these.

Cheers

About Black Raven Brewing Co.

As beer lovers ourselves, our mission is simple; brew beer that we want to drink. We do not limit ourselves to style guidelines or how we "should" brew any beer. We brew it our way and hope enough folks like it because we cannot drink it all, even though we try sometimes.
