image sourced from Granville Island BrewingWith the sunset of another year this writer wanted to remind you that there’s still time to get that perfect New Year’s Eve beer.

This time around I want to direct your attention to your local Government liquor store to grab a bottle of Granville Island Jack Daniel’s barrel-aged Barley Wine and Chocolate Imperial Stout.

image sourced from Granville Island BrewingDescribed by the brewery as “… loaded with NZ Motueka hops – which balance the beer’s sweet malt character and dried fruit flavours; while allowing the oak, vanilla and alcohol characteristics of the barrels to shine through.”, this year’s Barley Wine is sure to hit the spot on New Year’s Day.

For those keep track, that’s two (2) releases from Granville Island, brewed in Jack Daniel’s barrels.

Look for bottles of Granville Island barrel-aged Barley Wine & Imperial Chocolate Stout at liquor stores throughout the province.
