For the uninformed Watershed can be summed up as a “ … Northwest style India Pale Ale …” that “… highlights the flavors and aromas of our region’s best hops". These words serve to  bring excitement over their recent announcement… er release of their Watershed India Pale Ale in cans.

Craft beer in cans has become a continuing trend associated with breweries preserving the quality of their beer.

In fact if you asked head brewer Matt van Wyk, he would say that he couldn’t be happier.

“The bottom line is that cans are better for the quality of beer, and that's what I care about. Cans keep light out of the beer and have less oxygen pickup, which will allow us to have a great experience with fresh beer. The extra benefits of portability, recyclability and a single serving size are all just bonuses for us.”

Start looking for canned versions of Watershed India Pale Ale to be featured wherever you find their 22oz bottles or draft. As always if you don’t see it at your grocer or bar, ask them to buy some!.
