Would you look at that! It’s November 2nd!
Ok, so maybe there isn’t much to yell and scream about, relating to November 2nd. But there is something to yell about Saturday November 3rd, Two Beers’ Anniversary.
It’s hard to comprehend that is was over 4 years ago when Joel VandenBrink was brewing in storage unit! Then again that’s where many of our favorite up and coming breweries spent their mornings and days. Which is why this writer is stoked the prospect of visiting South Downtown (So’Do for the dames), shaking hands with Joel & crew while sipping on a Echo, Evo, or Immersion.
Since 2007, Two Beers Brewing has expanded from 170-square feet to 4,800-square feet, and has tripled capacity every year to bring Two Beers Brewing to a projected 7,000 barrels per year by the end of 2012.
To launch year five on it’s way to year six the brewery & taproom will feature pints and food (courtesy of Where Ya at Matt, a creole food truck bringing soul to the people of Seattle). Plus
Look for the brewery’s usual lineup of year-round beers as well as their Jive Espresso Stout, Heart of Darkness Imperial Cascadian Dark Ale and Pumpkin Spice. Plus the brewery will have their anniversary Double India Pale Ale available from the tap or to go in 22 ounce bottles. As usual there will be music, self-guided tours, and maybe a free gift.
