So why not kick it off with a visit to Hale’s Ales (4301 Leary Way Northwest), to celebrate the annual release of O’Brien’s Harvest Ale.

Notes from Hale's Head Brewer Lincoln Zmolek on this year's Harvest Ale

"7% A.B.V. ; Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe, Bravo, & "Experimental" hops; the addition of rye this year lends a subtle spice character and rounds out a solid malt profile to an otherwise very hoppy beer."

Swing into the pub between 5 and 7 PM to celebrate the release of a beer named after one of it’s most loyal employees.

As an added bonus the brewery is releasing some Barrel-aged Supergoose India Pale Ale to try alongside your Harvest Ale.

Cheers

About the Photo’s Author

Paul Gibson originally hails from Carlsbad, New Mexico, so it’s no wonder he prefers the Northwest’s cooler temperatures and its vast selection of hoppy delicious beers. As a kid, he first started taking photos with an Instamatic of his friends on their BMX bikes. Now he takes photos of beer, breweries and on occasion street photography, events and concerts—minus the Instamatic. You can see more of his photos on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/p_d_gibson ).
