Think would stop with reminding you about Beer Authority and their pending cider events? Nope, not a chance. Either out of anxiousness or just plain insanity, we decided to remind you that three Seattle area business will be celebrating Washington Cider Week alongside one in Yakima.

Ok, so maybe you didn’t read about what Cider Week was, so we will do our best with this ‘little copy / paste’ paragraph, courtesy of the Northwest Cider Association.

Cider Week is celebrated in California, Michigan, New York, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington - it’s a revolution! The kick-off event or Washington Cider Week is Seattle’s Cider Summit NW at South Lake Union Discovery Center Park, Saturday September 8th 2012, with tastings of craft ciders from around the world.

You’ll find cider-based specialty cocktails, cheese plates designed with cider in mind, cider tasting events, and even a special cider gelato.
