image of Hard Liver '10 courtesy of our Flickr page Do you recall the last time you ‘took it too far’ and ended up on the wrong side of a hangover? If you can’t recall the last time you reached for the bottle of aspirin, to make the voices go away: congratulations;

If you’re feeling nostalgic about your last time a bloody mary in the morning soothed the soul, then get ready for the Hard Liver Barley Wine Fest’ at Brouwer’s Cafe.

Held on March 3rd, Hard Liver celebrates a singular category of beers, the Barley Wine (or Barleywine). Featuring over 60+ dedicated draught handles, the Hard Liver is an event not to miss if you are in Seattle that weekend. A piece of advice as well for those attending this event, SHOW UP EARLY!!!

Ask anyone who has gone in previous year’s and they will tell you that long lines and equally long wait times (for service) are in store for those that attend. This isn’t a dig on the staff of Brouwer’s Cafe. More to the point it’s a warning to those who would pass judgment after visiting for the first time.

Still with us? Good because General Manager Nat Pellman has announced a partial list on the Brouwer’s Cafe website. More details to comes as the list grows.
