Event Preview: OR & WA: Deschutes Base Camp Schedule Announced

image of Deschutes Brewery pints sourced from Deschutes Brewery's Flickr page It has been brought to our attention that the folks in Bend (and Portland) have worked out a schedule for this year’s Base Camp, Deschutes exposition. Think of it as a traveling road show featuring brewers nights, beer specials, tastings, and dinners.

What exactly is Base Camp? It’s a place where Deschutes Brewery offers beer fanatics a spot to “pitch a tent” of sorts – and find their footing with the cornerstone of Mirror Pond Pale Ale. Deschutes takes over with a series of activities such as beer dinners, tastings, music, total tap takeovers and pint specials to help fans celebrate a love of craft beer. Not only is Mirror Pond Pale Ale highlighted, but the brewery also pulls out the stops with other year-round favorites and specialty brews that can’t be found elsewhere. –source, Deschutes Brewery

About Deschutes Brewery

Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Deschutes Brewery is in the business of daring people to expect more from their beer. That's why we started off in 1988, on the banks of the Deschutes River here in Bend,Oregon, by selling Black Butte Porter at a time when others were sure a dark beer would never catch on. Our brewers love to push the envelope, especially if it makes someone nervous.  But for us, the highest praise is a raised glass and a toast of "Bravely Done!"  For more information about Deschutes Brewery and its courageously crafted beers, please visit www.DeschutesBrewery.com.
