Brewery News: WA: Diamond Knot Brewing celebrates Boeing’s 787 & founder Brian Sollenberger 9/26 – 9/30

image sourced from Diamond Knot Brewing Co. Just a quick reminder that if you are looking for somewhere to eat next week, we have a couple of suggestions. For a limited time Diamond Knot Brewing is offering pitchers of their beers for $7.87, starting Monday and lasting till Friday.

Why are they doing this? The answer is simple.

In October 2009, Diamond Knot Brewing Co. lost an important member of our family, owner & founder Brian Sollenberger. At the time of his passing, Brian was also a Boeing Engineering Manager for the 787 Dreamliner. Brian co-founded Diamond Knot Brewing Co. with Bob Maphet after meeting in the home brew club at Boeing, and even though the brewery took off Brian never stopped enjoying his work at Boeing.

"Brian was excited to be working on the next generation aircraft; unfortunately, he never saw the plane fly" said Bob Maphet, Co-Founder. "We wanted to honor Brian and all the Boeing employees who have dreamed of this day".

To celebrate the delivery of Boeing's first 787 Dreamliner to All Nippon Airways and in honor of Brian's commitment to Boeing and to Diamond Knot, we would like to announce a special 787 Dreamliner promotion.
